David McLaughlin is an associate in the firm’s Orlando office. He has experience in complex civil litigation in both state and federal court. Mr. McLaughlin focuses his practice in the areas of commercial and civil litigation, with an emphasis in general liability, contract claims, professional liability, general business disputes, products liability, and premises liability claims.

Mr. McLaughlin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia, with a double major in Physics and Mathematics. Mr. McLaughlin studied law at Oxford University, England, and Florida State College of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate. Mr. McLaughlin was an editor for the Journal of Transnational Law & Policy and won the Book Award for International Aspects of Intellectual Property. Prior to joining Fulmer LeRoy & Albee, PLLC, Mr. McLaughlin had over twelve years of experience litigating issues involving complex commercial, construction, business, and intellectual property matters and acted as in-house counsel for multiple construction companies.

Mr. McLaughlin is a member of the Florida Bar and admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida. Mr. McLaughlin also holds a Florida Certified Underground Utilities and Excavation Contractor’s license.
