Mr. Uman has been litigating cases for over 33 years. His civil trial practice includes a wide variety of disputes involving complex litigation, bench and jury trials, appeals, and alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Uman’s litigation experience includes the successful defense of matters arising out of Transportation, Medical Negligence, Premises Liability, Products Liability, Construction Defects, Employment Discrimination and Hostile Work Environment, and Civil Rights Claims. Mr. Uman defends cases throughout Florida.

Mr. Uman is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Mr. Uman received his Juris Doctor degree from the George Washington University School of Law in 1989 and his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida in 1986. He and his wife, Claire, have three adult children. He enjoys playing competitive tennis, mountain biking, and surfing.
